Counselor’s Welcome: Welcome to my school counseling webpage! I am very excited to work with CSD again this school year! As a professional school counselor, I work in collaboration with school staff, parents, families, and the community to help students meet their full potential by providing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses the academic, personal/social, and career development of all students. I believe in encouraging students to be life-long learners and that all students are able to learn when provided with an environment that is conducive to their learning style. I am committed to providing our students with the best social and emotional tools possible as they navigate this exciting and often challenging stage of life. Please know that my support is available when your student encounters these challenges, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my role.

- Provide support for academic, behavioral, and social concerns.
- Design and implement programs and services that focus on meeting the needs of all students.
- Provide student centered classroom lessons that are focused on teaching about character education, social skills, various careers, study skills, test-taking skills, and other important skills that students need in order to be successful in life as well as school.
- Assist students in learning about their unique learning styles.
- Conduct small group lessons based on needs of students.
- Provide support for teachers so that they can meet the needs of all students in their classrooms.
- Provide parent consultations to provide support for families.
- I will work with all students so that they have the knowledge and power to realize their full potential, become life-long learners, and contribute to a global society.
- Provide school counseling for students in crisis (Referrals to outside agencies).
